Katsina: DPR Rose To Their Responsibility, Forced Filling Stations To Sell Petrol At N87/L
Following pressure from citizens on media in katsina state about the ineffectiveness of the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), they seems to have finally rose to their responsibility where they were reported to have started going round Katsina metropolis and forced filling stations dispensing fuel above the official regulated price to sell at the official price of N87 per litre.
Yesterday in the afternoon, the DPR officials visited the popular filling station in Federal College of Education (FCE) along Katsina-Dutsin-ma road where they found them selling fuel at N235/L and so forced them to readjust their meter to N87/L. The DPR officials also stayed there for quite sometime to make sure they complied before the left them to another filling station.
But KATSINA POST learnt that soon after they left the station, they re adjusted their dispensing metre back to its original N235/L.
