Katsina: UMYUK Matriculated 2600 New Students For The 2016/2017 Academic Session


Ummaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina has matriculated about 2600 students for the 2016/2017 academic session.


At the occasion in the school premises, the VC of the institution -Prof Idris Funtua said the students were admitted out of the over 8,000 students that applied.


While addressing the new students shortly after the students took their oath of office, the VC urged them to work hard to excel in their various field of study. He also noted that the university is well equipped with learning facilities.


Earlier, the Registrar of the school, Halliru Abdullahi who administered matriculation oath to the students pointed out that the students were admitted base on merit.
