Fuel Queues Gradually Disappearing As Katsina State Received 76 Trucks Of Petrol (As At Monday)
Katsina state government has promised to intensify efforts in the supply of petroleum in the state in order to end the fuel scarcity. The chairman of the committee saddled with the monitoring of the supply and distribution of the commodity Alhaji Rabiu Abdu Ruma who is also the permanent secretary of special duties to the SSG’s office stated this during a press conference in his office.
Alhaji Rabi’u Abdu Ruma revealed that the petroleum allocation to the state rises everyday. According to him, from thursday 21st April to Monday 25th the state has received 76 trucks of the petroleum product. While giving the breakdowns, the permanent secretary revealed that on Thursday, the state got the allocation of 14 trucks, on Friday, 18 trucks, on Saturday -18 trucks and Monday – 26 trucks.
He then urged the general public to report any petroleum station selling above official government prices of N86, hoarding and or diverting the fuel to the authorities fro proper action.
