For Senator Katsina central and gubernatorial primary election aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last elections Sen. Ibrahim Ida has expresses his interest to contest for his party’s National Secretary in its coming national convention.
The former senator’s interest was disclosed by one of his aids who posted a statement -or so to say to that effect online.
In the statement, KATSINA POST gathered that Ida said “I am happy and honoured to respectfully inform you of my desire to seek for the office of National Secretary of our great Party, PDP.”
He then concluded the statement by saying “I most humbly appeal for your kind support in this journey to unify, reposition and return our great party to our winning ways.”
KATSINA POST could recall that same Ibrahim Ida wanted to contest for the post of legal adviser of the PDP in the aborted convention in Port Harcourt last May.
Bellow is the full statement:
I am happy and honoured to respectfully inform you of my desire to seek for the office of National Secretary of our great Party, PDP. In so doing, I offer my years of experience in Public Service with the attendant wide network of friends, associates and acquaintances all over the country, my years of experience and involvement in the management of the Party and, very importantly, my high level of personal integrity and expertise in the management of human, financial and other material resources.
Besides, being a lawyer, I have the training and the commitment to always act in accordance with extant laws, rules and regulations. I also have the training and experience to arbitrate and resolve intricate disputes and other conflict situations. It is on the strength of all that I most humbly appeal for your kind support in this journey to unify, reposition and return our great party to our winning ways.
Thank you and best regard.
