Katsina 2016 Hajj: Masari met with intending pilgrims as first batch from MALUMFASHI are to be airlifted today


The Katsina State Governor Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has urge the state’s intending pilgrims to exhibit tolerance and perseverance throughout their pilgrimage time in order to achieve an acceptable hajj. Governor Masari state this during his farewell address to the first batch of the intending pilgrims from Malumfashi zone in the premises of the state hajj camp.

The governor also urges the intending pilgrims to worship Allah and pray for peace and stability in the state and the nation at large. He also warned ‘loaders’ and other people in the entourage that are expected to work and help the pilgrims to step up and do their job as government will not tolerate laxity and negligence.

On his part, the state Amirul Hajj who is also a former deputy governor Alhaji Abdullahi Garba Aminchi expressed satisfaction with the arrangements of the state Pilgrims welfare board both at home and at the holy land and therefore urged the pilgrims to reciprocate the gesture by praying to the Masari’s led administration.

Earlier, the emir of Katsina State stated that lack of sanity and discipline among some pilgrims is causing serious embarrassment to the state in the holy land and therefore urge all intending pilgrims to perform their hajj deeds with knowledge and always ask scholars on anything they did not understand.


KATSINA POST can reliably report that the first batch of the pilgrims from Malumfashi zone will be airlifted anytime from now as an aeroplane has already landed in the early ours of today Thursday 11th August, 2016 at the Ummaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport.
