In what appears like a mob attack, the former Katsina gubernatorial contestant under the platform of APGA Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Tsauri popularly known as TATA was attacked in the ancient city of Faskari local government of Katsina State.

KATSINA POST can reliably gathered that from a status  posted on the 11th of August, 2016 on the facebook wall of the user ‘Umar Tata’.

It could be recalled that KATSINA POST HAUSA has reported that the philanthropist turned politician has earlier requested police to investigate one Bishir Wada who allegedly stole some money donation given to orphans affected by terrorists attack sometime ago by the then gubernatorial candidate.

While narrating how the incidence happened, Tata wrote: “Yesterday (that’s 10th August) I was in Faskari and today too! Why? Seeking for justice for people that I have probably never met nor will I ever meet. 156 Innocent kids of Faskari born in Faskari by Faskari parents.”

Tata continued: “Today in Faskari I had the wind shield of two of my cars broken not by anybody from Dutsinma, but by the sons of Faskari. My crime was simple! How dare I seek justice for their kith and kins! What they see as my fault is actually my pride and my strength; love is what I toil to get and love is what I will die to give. Fear has no place in what I do for it kills the spirit of those that begin the count with themselves as number one! For me I always come last in my equation and Faskari is where I will be, God willing on August 31st, to continue the fight. What will I bring on that day for my defence?”

He then concluded by promising that on the 31st August, he will be going back to the local government to continue with the struggle.

Bellow is the excerpt of his post:

“Yesterday I was in Faskari and today too! Why? Seeking for justice for people that I have probably never met nor will I ever meet. 156 Innocent kids of Faskari born in Faskari by Faskari parents. This issue I am pursuing reminds me of the Shema era when I was enemy number in the state. I suffered every kind of indignity not because there was something I needed in the state but because there was something I wanted to give to the state. I saw love and I got love even though I got no votes. I almost gave up on humanity erroneously equating love with votes until Allah showed me that they are two different things. Today in Faskari I had the wind shield of two of my cars broken not by anybody from Dutsinma, but by the sons of Faskari. What will I bring on that day for my defence? Another car to be broken, a message of love and the audacity of hope, believing that I have nothing to defend myself in this foreign land where justice seeks to take flight!”
