Government functionaries that graced the occasion includes the state deputy governor Alhaji Mannin Yakubu, and the speaker state house of assembly -Alhaji Aliyu Sabi’u Muduru among others.

At the grand reception ceremony, a section of the crowed were seen holding placards with writings on it signifying various local governments paying their allegiance to he ruling party APC.

On the other hand, shortly after the reception ceremony, Alhaji Umar Abdu Tsauri popularly known as (Tata) who is largely seen as the sole owner of the party in the state before his returned to the PDP and the party’s gubernatorial flag bearer in the 2015 general elections, dismissed the event as total waste of time.

Tata who made his feelings known through his facebook account wall in a well written long post titled “WHY DOES EVERY GOVERNOR WANT TO HUMILIATE ME?”

Tata also accuses Masari for abusing and attacking his personality.

He said “Masari for whatever reason has found me a convenient political punching bag. He spares no effort to denigrate me and show his masculinity using my name. He just finished a meeting inside Fadama Hotel where I was the subject of abuse and attack purporting to receive some people that decamped from the party I contested election in 2015. I don’t want to go into that and who the people are, for I am sure Masari knows their importance more than I do since they claimed to have worked for him in 2015 not me, but my question is why me?”.
