Reminder to H.E Aminu Masari on unpaid 5-months LG workers salary -By Mohammed Idris Ruma

Your Excellency sir,Rt.Hon.Aminu Bello Masari, I will like to use this great opportunity to appreciate your style of leadership in repositioning and changing the katsina local government civil servants schedule of duties positively. May God Almighty continue to pilots your leadership.

Sir, I must remind you that change is a gradual process and it is one of the most expensive words in the world, you promised us change in all the sector across katsina state when we vote for you in 2015 general election which we did. You were so active in the issue of the security aspect which even your worst enemies will testify that there is change and progress in the katsina state security section especiallybin the area of cattle rustler.

Your Excellency sir it’s clear for me to kindly draw your attention on the issue of the recent local government screening that took place in the past 5-6 months ago as a way forward at the same time a threats  to those that has clean hands who committed no crime or little  crime to the civil service rule of law, what I mean here is that those affected staffs should be given clean clarification either by releasing all their salaries been held for months or a sack letter should be given to them in order for them to know their faiths because sacking them will not be end of their living rather it will increase more burden to katsina state cases of youths unemployment rate which will only increase street urchins and thuggery in our society.

My humble advice to you sir, is for you to bring those who are going to add value in our educational sector by reducing the un-schedule duties in local government, let me cited an example with those having science laboratory technology profession in the primary health care department without proper consideration cause it is not medical laboratory technician and still our secondary schools laboratory in katsina state lacks the technologies/technicians to handle the laboratory an still we want the best in our science schools, why not the government should put such into consideration if really we want change. Why can’t we ask ourselves on what value are we going to add to our society?why many commissioners and S.A’s including those holding political offices don’t ask themselves is this office better than me or am better than the office? How many people really understand what change is all about?what is the impact an individual has to render to the society for Its development? How many people really know the difference between PDP and APC?

It is “accountability”Your Excellency sir don’t allow some few individuals to make you build your political graveyard by accepting and receiving wrong information from them, some people are just passengers in the APC train,if they shout APC they say “change”. I think the present APC government of katsina state should keep to their campaign promises by obeying the rule of law and the APC manifesto by organizing a routing sensitization on how to transform the change mantra to developmental issues from the grassroots.

My final advices to the katsina state government under the leadership of Rt.Hon. Aminu Bello Masari is to immediately look into all outstanding staffs, that have not been paid for the past 5months with immediate consideration for all outstanding cases to be clear once and for all in order to have peace of mind in moving katsina state forward and positively and may we have the courageous mind in contributing our quota for the development of our dear state called katsina.

God bless katsina state.
