Katsina State Government to be the first beneficiary of the national schools re orientation programme, says Amb. Abubakar Tsanni
The Katsina State Government to receive 170,000 copies of TNFI branded exercise books and other writing materials as soon as the National Schools Re Orientation Programme flags off by the Minister of Education-Mallam Adamu Adamu in Abuja.
The organisation made this known during a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Katsina State – Rt.Hon. Aminu Bello Masari in his office on Thursday 13th October 2016.The TNFI delegation led by the Director General – Amb. Abubakar A.Tsanni and the Speaker of the State House of Assembly – Rt. Hon. Aliyu Sabi’u Mud’uru who was earlier on the same day visited by the Organisation.
The Governor who welcomed the group to Katsina State endorsed the National Schools Re Orientation Programme and enumerated several projects his administration has completed to improve the quality of Education in the State which has started yielding results.
The Director General of Think Nigeria First Initiative (TNFI) In his speech commended the governor for his warm reception and the laudable projects he has embarked upon.The Governor was put in the know of the activities of Think Nigeria First Initiative and that Katsina State will be the first State in Nigeria to benefit from the CATCH THEM YOUNG Programme.
High points of the visit is the investiture of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari – Dallatun Katsina and the Speaker of the State House of Assembly as TNFI AMBASSADORS.The Governor pledged his support on Think Nigeria First Initiative to achieve its objective of re orienting Nigerians to put the Nation First above Self.
The TNFI delegation comprising of Directors,Patrons, Board of Trustees Members, Staff etc were subsequently taken round different project sites in the State which the government embarked upon to better the welfare of the people of Katsina.
