Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State has approved the appointment of new heads for training institutions under the Ministry of Health.

The new appointees are Alhaji Aminu Bello AbdulLahi as the Director, School of Nursing,Katsina, Hajiya Halima Kalla, Director, School of Midwifery,  Malumfashi, Alhaji Sani Yahaya, Director, School of Health Technology,  Daura and Alhaji Hafiz Mohammed, Director, School of Health Technology, Kankia.

All the appointees are staff of the Health Ministry in the state.

The appointment is with immediate effect.

In a related development, President Muhammadu Buhari has sent the name of 46 persons to the Senate for confirmation as ambassadors.

This was contained in a letter sent to Senate president Bukola Saraki who read it on the floor of the plenary on Thursday, October 20.

Some of them include Usman Bugaje, Yusuf Tugar, Musa Ibeto, Senator Olorunimbe Mamora, Nurudeen Mohammed, Jamila Ahmadu-Suka, Suleiman Hassan, Musa Ibeto and Pauline Talen.
