Breaking: Katsina State Gov’t to secure another loan from CBN

Governor Aminu Bello Masari said that three (3) members of National Road Transport Owners (NARTO) will be included into the committee that will be constituted and inaugurated by soon that will be saddled with the responsibility of charting ways on how to secure another loan from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The Governor stated this when a delegation of the union led by Alhaji Yakubu Muhammad Karmanje paid him a courtesy visit at his office at Muhammadu Buhari House.

It could be recalled that earlier this year, Katsina state House of Assembly has granted approval to the  state executive arm of government under the leadership of Governor Aminu Bello Masari to secure yet another loan of N14.6billion from the federal government under the ‘budget support scheme’ KATSINA POST can authoritatively gathered.

Since after his assumption to office, Governor Aminu Bello Masari has beeb accused of securing loans which analyst and the biggest opposition party in the state best described as ‘unnecessary’.

In another related news Governor Masari has urged Media houses to report government activities objectively without afraid of criticism.

The Governor stated this when the members of the National Union of Journalist [Correspondent Chapel] visited him on a courtesy call led by its Chairman Lawal Sa’idu Funtua.

Gov. Masari acknowledged their support towards his Restoration project and also urged them to continue giving their support to his government.

The Chairman, NUJ correspondent chapel, Lawal Saidu said their union is satisfied with the Governor’s leadership style and reiterated their confidence on how Gov Masari is handling the affairs of the state.
