Katsina Speaker appeals State Gov’t to Intervene Alqalam University

The Katsina state house of Assembly has urged the state government to intervene and construct a theater hall at Alqalam University Katsina.

The speaker Yahaya Kusada announce the decision of the house after deliberation on a motion filed by Mamman Bishir Dutsina.

According to the speaker, “Even though the school is private a great number of the students are indigenes of the state. Hence it is necessary to support”.

The sponsor of the motion honorable Bishir Mamman however decried that “The lack of adequate lecture theater in the university has caused serious stake to the students especially during examination.”

Similarly, the house has also deliberated by Hon. Bello Abdu Danmusa seeking for a support of the lawmakers to call on government to construct a road linking Danmusa, Unguwar Makera, Maidabino villages.

According to the Lawmaker, the road has been appearing in a budget since 2007 but however no money appropriated the project since then.

He said the road if constructed will assist in reducing insecurity in the area.
