The Peoples Democratic Party in Katsina has rejected the Mashi/Dutsi bye election as declared by INEC insisting that the election should be declared inconclusive. Dailytrust reports
The party has resolved to challenge the election in court and the eligibility of the APC candidate.
The party’s chairman Salisu Majigiri at a press conference said election was not conducted in 23 polling units because of alleged connivance of INEC officials and top government funtionaries along side police to defraud electorates of their voting rights.
He said, INEC was neither fair nor just in the election to the PDP or electorates in Katsina if it did not conduct fresh election in those units.
