  1. NIGERIA RAILWAY COOPERATIVE AND IMMORALITY

Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has been illegally deducting our salaries of We mostly the junior staff from level 4-6 to the sum of N2,000 to N 5,000 monthly through railway cooperative loans ltd. The corrupt cooperative ltd in conjunction with NRC Account Department all base in Lagos the head quarters of NRC, Illegally pick salary account details of mostly less educated staff from their payroll which is in custody of the Accountant at both the district/ head office level to perpetrate this illegal salary deduction monthly as a worker collecting N18,000/monthly is now forced to collect N10,000-N13,000/month. Unfortunately, no worker has agreed to sign any documents or condition of contract to have warranted his salary being deducted. Because of the hardship NRC cooperative has put us through; most of us have approach the management both at our various District as well as head quarters on the need to stop the illegal deduction. But all has proofed abortive.
On account of the illegal deduction most of us can no longer meet our basic obligation and responsibilities to our families, but instead we resort to borrowing monthly to cover the deficit in our salaries. Most of us our salaries have been deducted to the sum of N30,000 to N50000 illegally for about 1 to 2 years. As if our poor salary scale of N 18,000; N23, 000 and N25, 000 for level 4, 5 and 6 respectively as obtained in Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) is not enough hardship already. Please, the public and well meaning Nigerians should pray and come to our aid over the artificial hardship and injustice imposed on us by the Nigeria Railway Corporation. Thank you and May God bless Nigeria.
