Ahead of Sallah, Police in Katsina paraded notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorising the state
The Katsina State Police command had earlier on in the beginning of the week paraded four (4) suspected notorious highway armed robbery and kidnapping syndicate at Musawa LGA of Katsina State to news men.
While briefing the news men, the state Commissioner of Police Abdullahi A. Usman stated that: “On 18th of June at around 3:30am the command smashed a notorious highway armed robbery and kidnapping syndicate at Musawa LGA of Katsina State.”

The suspects according to him are Halliru Auwal from Kaduna, Hassan Bello from Kafur, Dahiru Haruna from Kusada and Haruna Musa from Kudan of Kaduna State.
He also revealed that all the suspects are not upto 30 years of age.

KATSINA POST learnt that items recovered from them includes among others one motor vehicle golf, the sum of over N140,000, 19 different types of GSM Handsets, a laptop and other dangerous weapons.
