In keeping with her mandate of helping the needy, the state commissioner of women affairs Dr.Badiyya Hassan Mashi, on Monday brings succor to four patients in need of financial assistant.
The event which took place at the Ministry’s conference hall was witness by esteem government officials, hospital management, well-wishers amongst others.
Speaking during the formal presentation of the cash to the beneficiaries, the Commissioner said “The donation was made possible by His excellency Governor Aminu Bello Masari who has once again been able to fulfil his obligation to the needy”.
“Masari led-administration is open for the masses irrespective of status and its ever committed to assist who so ever in need of support”. The commissioner said

Admonishing the beneficiaries, Dr. Badiyya Hassan Mashi said her Ministry will continue to play it’s role in supporting people with the limited resource within it reach.
The beneficiaries include a 10-year-old girl Umaima who is battling with Kidney disease and had lost foresight to cater for medical bills. Also, the commissioner donates N50, 000 and sponsored the medical bills of a 35 year-old Khadija Umar suffering with C’S failure after giving birth.
The commissioner also donates N150, 000 cash to a 5 year-old Basariya Ibrahim from Birnin Kuka Village suffering with intestinal disorder. Malama Maryama who is currently on her hospital bed at Turai Yar’adua hospital received the donation of N95, 000 through her guardian.

In his remark, the secretary of Turai Yar’adua Hospital Bello Garba Saulawa expressed appreciation on behalf of the beneficiaries.
According to him, the honorable commissioner has stand to complement Masari’s effort toward bringing succor to the vulnerables in the state.
“There will always be room for wealthy individuals and groups to complement the activities of government, particularly at the grassroots, as government alone cannot provide for all the basic social amenities.
“It can be anybody living in such conditions. Caring for the poor and the under privileged is an act of humility for they will always exist in every society,” he said.

The young Umaima spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries thanks the honorable commissioner for assisting her twice and prayed for Almighty Allah to grant her Jannah.
