The former Katsina State Governor Barrister Ibrahim Shema has reacted to the recent judgment earlier today passes by the Kaduna Divission of Court of Appeal that dismissed the case he filled challenging the jurisdiction of the State High court to preside over his case with the State Government and the EFCC.
KATSINA POST learnt that Shema who spoke through his counsel, stated that they will think on their next line of action and decide, and inform the general public in due course.
Earlier on, the Katsina State PDP Chairman Alhaji Salisu Yusuf Majigiri who spoke to our reporter exclusively stated that they still have an appeal chance as Court of Appeal is not the supreme court in the country. He also informed us that they will discuss the judgement with their lawyers and decide on next move.
It could be recalled that the former Governor has rushed to the Appeal Court in Kaduna challenging the ruling of a Katsina state High Court delivered on 21 of February 2017.
Shema and 3 others were challenging the Jurisdiction of the Katsina state High Court trying them on financial crimes related offences.
The penal of five Justice was chaired by A.G. Mshelia, and the lead Judgement was delivered by H.A.O. Abiru.
